Acquittals, Grants & Government Funding Audits
Many organisations receive funding from a government body or investor, to finance their operations or a particular project. Under such arrangements, the funder may require the organisation to report back to them on a periodic or annual basis. Most commonly this is to certify that the funding provided has been expended in line with the terms of the funding agreement and/or is in compliance with the agreement terms.
Commonly this certification process is required to be conducted by an independent auditor.
At Oak Audit & Assurance, our experience in performing acquittal services spans over a 15 year period, and covers a range of organisations and entity types, of all sizes. We have experience auditing and acquitting funding provided for/by governments and local council projects, as well as for funding made via private and not-for-profit sector entities.
